Incredibly this late Georgian or very early Victorian childs friendship human hair collection thin paper note book has survived the ravages of time.
Pages of individually woven hair, most named and some with sweet lines of poetry inscribed in fine hand. Little ribbons and bows. All truly amazing.
Most woven or braided human hair collections were memorial remembrance and death memento mori related, yet this was done as a Loving autograph book, likely an entire schoolhouse or class.
