Memento Mori heavy Sterling silver memorial urn by Moss. An OLD piece, the fastening mechanisim may have been added much latter. Marked on reverse, Moss Sterling, it was made as a death loss remembrance pin. Chunky weighing 0.8 ounces, this antique silver gem measures more than one and a half inches long Most interesting is it is almost an inch THICK. Top of urn is open and would of held customary nosegay flower or herb arrangement. Very fine.
